Voluntary registration
A priest submits an application and attaches a signed and authenticated letter of recommendation from the competent ordinary or superior.
An international project for voluntary registration by priests and future online verification of document status, based on attestations from the competent ecclesiastical authorities.
CELEBRET is an independent project for managing applications and digitally checking the status of priestly documents.
A priest submits an application and attaches a signed and authenticated letter of recommendation from the competent ordinary or superior.
A single administrator examines the documents and, where needed, confirms them with the issuing authority.
A QR code will display authorized identity details, the current celebret status and whether verified restrictions are recorded.
A digital document will not become active before administrative approval.
The priest completes the form and submits the signed, authenticated letter.
The central administrator reviews evidence and approves, declines or requests additional documents.
Only after approval can the digital celebret appear as active during QR verification.
